Privacy
This page describes what the appointment request form on this website actually does. It was written from the code that runs it, not from a template.

What the form collects
When you send an appointment request, the website records:
- your full name;
- how you would like Keaton to reply — call, text or email;
- your phone number or your email address. Only the one that matches your chosen reply method is kept. If you type into both boxes, the one you did not choose is discarded and is never stored or sent;
- the service you selected, or “Not sure”;
- your preferred date and general time;
- an alternate date and time, if you chose one;
- how you heard about Keaton, if you chose to say;
- the fact that you ticked the permission box;
- the date and time you sent the request.
What the form does not collect
There is no free-text box anywhere on this website, and the form does not ask for and cannot store:
- health information, medical history, medications, allergies, skin conditions or pregnancy details;
- photographs;
- card, bank or payment details;
- a date of birth, an address, or an account or password.
Please do not put any of that into the fields that do exist. Anything relevant is discussed with you in person at your consultation.
Where your request goes
- Stored on this website’s server. A copy is written to a folder on the hosting account that is blocked from the web and is not published, indexed or included in the website’s public files.
- Emailed to Keaton. The same details are emailed to Keaton so she can reply. Email is not encrypted end to end, and Keaton’s mailbox is provided by a third party, so that provider can technically access the message.
- Hosting. This website is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web host, Hostinger operates the server and keeps its own access logs, which normally include visitors’ IP addresses. Those logs are Hostinger’s, not part of this form.
Your details are not sold, and are not shared with anyone beyond the hosting and email providers described above. They are not sent to Cape Fear Community College by this website.
Spam protection
There is no CAPTCHA and no third-party spam service. Instead the form uses three checks that run on this website’s own server:
- a hidden field that people never see and never fill in;
- a signed timestamp, so a form submitted within a few seconds of loading is rejected;
- a limit on how many requests can be sent from one internet connection in an hour and in a day. To count those, the website stores a one-way hashed form of your IP address. The address itself is never written down, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.
Cookies, analytics and third parties
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising tags. It loads no fonts, scripts, maps or widgets from other companies — every file the pages need comes from this website. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Links to Cape Fear Community College, Instagram and Facebook are ordinary links. Once you follow one, that site’s own privacy practices apply.
How long it is kept
The stored copy of your request, and the hashed rate-limiting record, are deleted automatically 90 days after they are created.
The email copy sits in Keaton’s mailbox and is managed by her, not by this website, so it is not covered by that automatic deletion.
Deleting your request
Call, text or email Keaton and ask her to delete your request. She will remove the email copy, and the stored copy is deleted on the 90-day schedule above or sooner on request.
Age
Appointment requests must be submitted by someone 18 or older. If the client is under 18, a parent or guardian must submit the request and attend the appointment.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS, the stored copies sit outside the web-readable part of the site, and only the details listed above are collected. No website can promise perfect security, and this page does not.
Changes
If the form or how it handles your details changes, this page will be rewritten to match and the date at the top will change. It describes the website as it stands on the date shown, and nothing more.
